Corbin began his career in the 1960s as a Shakespearean actor, but the moment is more likely to be seen in the part of the original sheriff, a military leader. From 2007 to 2012, Corbin appeared in the recreating part of Clay Johnson, father of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson on The Near.

Corbin played the part of General Carville in successive videotape games developed by Westwood Studios in 1998, Red Alert Retribution; in 2000, Command & Conquer Red Alert 2; and in 2001, Command & Conquer Yuri’s Vengeance.
